Dear Friends,
I hope you can come see a staged reading of my new theater show @ Off Center. Collected Stories
by Donald Margulies
Directed by Walt Levering
February 16 - 26, 2011 at 7:30pm
Donald Margulies' provocative play, Collected Stories, is an emotional journey of two writers. Ruth Steiner (played by Geri Amori), the elder, learned teacher with a romantic past, and Lisa Morrison (played by Amy Burrell-Cormier), the hired student assistant and eager protégé. Set in Ruth’s Greenwich Village apartment in the early 1990s, the play develops and grows their professional relationship as well as their intimate friendship. Collected Stories reminds us that there are stories we read, stories we imagine, stories we tell and stories we live and Margulies uses the play as a forum to explore the question of who has the rights to someone's story.
Tickets $15 at the door (cash/ck only) or through www.flynntix.org or call 802-86-Flynn
