The mission of Off Center for the Dramatic Arts is to provide an affordable theater space ​
​which supports experimentation, education and engagement for artists, audiences and the community.

Off Center is for risk.
This is where we can try new things, discover new voices, explore new stories. 

​The artists and audiences who find their way to Off Center value the curiosity and challenge of new works,
and the ambition to explore old ones
​in new ways .

Our Board of Directors meets four times a year, providing both ongoing governance and vital operational volunteer work.  Board members serve on teams focused on specific activities, such as Facilities, Marketing, and Fundraising.
The Executive Committee meets monthly to ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly.
