Located in the heart of Burlington's Old North End, Off Center provides an affordable, accessible venue and rehearsal space for productions by local and visiting performance artists. Through its mission of affordability, Off Center has become a go to incubator space for new work and original material and the home space to many area artists and theater companies.

Consider Off Center as the Venue for Your Upcoming Show, Class, Workshop, or Rehearsal
For those individuals or companies interested in renting Off Center for an upcoming production, Off Center has expanded its space to include a small studio, kitchenette, bathroom and lobby/concession area. Off Center is a dedicated performing arts facility with a flexible design. The space is appointed with configurable plush theatrical drapes, a professionally installed lighting grid and system featuring a ColorSource 20 programmable lighting console, and a 46-seat house on tiered seating for excellent audience sight lines. terms of rental
Rental Costs
1. Rental rates as of May 1, 2016 are as follows (excluding $25 orientation fee):
Weekly Rental (9 a.m. Monday to Midnight Sunday): $750
Daily Rental (Monday–Sunday, 9 a.m.to Midnight): $165
Nonperformance Events (i.e., no audience [e.g., rehearsals of shows not to be performed at Off Center, auditions, etc.]; availability permitting) Daily Rental: $75 (9 a.m. to Midnight)
Hourly rentals available on request and by availability.
2. The first 25% of the rental fee is due at time of booking, with the final 75% due by two (2) weeks before the start date of the rental agreement; single-day bookings cannot be made more than 1 month in advance, at which time a 100% deposit is due (including damage deposit).
3. Any costs for additional staff/equipment shall be paid before opening night.
4. Contact [email protected] with scheduling inquiries.
5. Once you have agreed upon a rental period with Off Center personnel, you will receive a rental contract via email. You may submit your deposit through PayPal by selecting the appropriate booking period in the drop-down menu below and then clicking the "Submit Deposit" button.
